Ir. KB Lee oversees ERA Scaffold System's technical governance, engineering design, and structural integrity standards. With over 20 years of specialized experience in temporary works, structural falsework, formwork, and self-climbing platform systems, he provides high-level engineering advice for complex infrastructure, industrial, and high-rise developments.

Qualifications & Credentials

  • First-Class Honors in Civil & Structural Engineering — National University of Malaysia (UKM, 1993).
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) since 2001.
  • Chairman of Technical Committee for Department of Standards Malaysia (DSM) — "Malaysia Standard for Scaffolding & Falsework".
  • Technical Committee Member for Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) drafting CIS 22 (Safe Use of Scaffolding) and CIS 23 (Safe Use of Falsework).
  • Former Committee Member of the Civil & Structural Engineering Technical Division at the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).
  • Key contributor to SIRIM-IEM drafting committees for Eurocode 3 (EC3 Steel Design), Steel Materials, and Modular/Prefabricated Scaffolding standards.

With over 16 years of hands-on experience in construction scaffolding systems, Allen works directly with main contractors and project managers to deliver cost-effective, site-specific scaffolding configurations.

Allen has overseen scaffolding supply, design consultation, and temporary works execution for some of Malaysia's most iconic infrastructure and building projects, including:
